Baseline Testing

Baseline testing for our representative athletes will occur in Galway on June 19th (10am, All Core Gym, Ballybrit). The purpose of this event will be to carry out a testing protocol for nominated club athletes (e.g. basic strength and physical measurements) who will be considered to represent Ireland at international events.
TOWI is committed to an open and transparent selection process at all levels for our representative athletes. We will be hosting a coach / athlete information Zoom call early next week (provisionally June 15th at 8pm) – this call will involve a brief presentation on our new structures and what to expect for the baseline testing on June 19th.
If you (i.e. club coaches and club athletes) could allow time for a meeting next week, that would be a very positive first step. This is an open call to all our clubs as we want to find the best athletes and the best combination of athletes for our representative teams”.
