About Tug of War
Ireland
Tug of War Ireland (TOWI) is the national governing body for the sport of tug of war in the Republic of Ireland.
We support a growing network of clubs, athletes, volunteers, and schools, working in line with Sport Ireland and the Tug of War International Federation (TWIF) to promote the sport safely and fairly at every level.
From local events to World and International Championships, Irish teams have built a strong reputation on the rope – and we’re committed to making the sport accessible to everyone.
