Weights Mens 600kg, & 640kg Novice.

Venue Creewood, Co Meath.
Weights Mens 720kg, U-23 640kg, & Youths 640kg.
Judges Mr Shamus Kilbride, & Mr Eddie. Hubbard.

Date Sunday 27th July.
Venue Lakehill, Co Sligo.
Weights Mens 680kg, & U-23 620kg.
Judges Mr Vincent Canavan, & Mr Gerry Ferguson.

Date Sunday 10th August.
Venue New Ross, Co Wexford.
Weights Mens 640kg, Novice 720kg.

Date Sunday 17th August.
Venue Tullow, Co Carlow.
Weights Mens 560kg, Novice 680kg, U-23 600kg, & Youths 560kg.

Weigh-in Saturday Evening from 8.30am - 9.30pm.
Weigh-in Sunday Morning from 11.00am - 12.30pm

All competitions will start at 1.00pm.

Rules for National Championships.


Weigh-in.
Teams who wish to weigh-in on Saturday evening must notify the Judge in charge by written letter one week in advance of the competition.
Scales will be open on Saturday Evening from 8.30pm - 9.30pm.

Weight Advantage.
Novice teams will be allowed 60kg Advantage when competing in Senior Competitions.
Div 2. teams will be allowed 50kg advantage when competing in Senior Competitions.
Novice teams & Div 2. teams will loose the weight Advantage immediately, if they win a senior competition.
Novice teams competing in Novice weight Categories have no weight Advantage.
They will be no mixing of teams for the Championships. Pullers who are Affiliated with a team for 2008 may only compete with that team.

Senior Teams for 2008.
Boley, Killylough, Carbery, Lakehill, Rathanna, St Pats, Scruffy Murphys, Mountain View, Gortletteragh, Bremore Farmers.
A 40kg weight Advantage will be allowed to Carbery, Rathanna, & Scruffy Murphys, in the Senior Division.

Division 2 teams for 2008.
Grove, Fermoy, Dungloe, Slaneysiders, Donoughmore, & Lavally.

Novice Teams for 2008.
Creewood, Ballyhooly, Harps, Tara Arms, & Cappoquin.

Ladies Teams for 2008.
Provisions will be made, to accommodate affiliated Ladies teams.

Weigh-in times.
Saturday Evening. 8.30pm - 9.30pm
Sunday. 11.00am - 12.30pm

All competitions will start at 1.00pm.
